Claireville Conservation Area

Urban Wilderness Experience

Claireville Conservation Area is 848 acres straddling Peel Region and Toronto. The centre piece of this area is the Claireville Dam and Reservoir. It is highly accessible, and has outstanding recreation, tourism and education facilities and programs.

Claireville Conservation Area Management Plan Update

Toronto and Region Conservation is updating the Claireville Conservation Area Management Plan (1997). For more information, please contact Gary Wilkins, Humber River Watershed Specialist, at gwilkins@trca.on.ca.

Pet Policy:

Pets are permitted at most Toronto and Region Conservation areas; however, for the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we do insist that:

  •  pets are kept on a leash at all times
  •  owners clean up after their pets
  •  pets are not allowed in the visitors centre

Clairville Conservation Area operating season runs from April 24 to November 1, 2010.
