Hours of Operation:

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is open for the TRCA Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival from March 6 to April 11, 2010. During the Maple syrup Festival, Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is open Wednesday to Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and every day during March Break and Easter Monday.
The regular operating season runs from April 24 to October 31, 2010.

*The chalets at Bruce's Mill are also available for private, after hours use. Please enquire about facility rentals.

Pet Policy:

Pets are permitted at most Toronto and Region Conservation areas; however, for the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we do insist that:

•  pets are kept on a leash at all times
•  owners clean up after their pets
•  pets are not allowed in the visitors centre

Cross Country Running

During the fall, Bruce's Mill Conservation Area plays host to a number of cross-country races. The large shade trees offer runners the perfect conditions for training and competition. Our friendly staff has plenty of experience hosting cross country runs and will help make your next race a success.

Day Camps

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is a great place for day camps and day cares to explore nature's playground during the summer months. We offer an ideal location with many shaded areas, picnic shelters for lunch and snack times, open fields for sports and plenty of washrooms. Special permit pricing applies.

Group Camping

Group camping is available at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area for groups of 20 or more. For more information on group camping or to make a reservation, please contact our customer service at 416-667-6295 (Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

Weddings

Looking to add some rustic charm to your wedding day? Then consider the Chalet at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area in historic Stouffville. Located in what was once a working sugarbush (hence the name!), the Pancake House can accommodate up to 60 people for recreation and dance. A large shaded area, located adjacent to the facility, is an ideal location for the ceremony or a tent. The facility has a large room with high ceilings upstairs, which is a perfect place to expand the wedding celebrations or to host the ceremony. The upper balcony is ideal for staging photos or for the cocktail reception.

Picnics

With 12 picnic sites located throughout the park, Bruce's Mill Creek Conservation Area can easily accommodate groups from 50 to 10,000. Our friendly customer service representatives will help you determine the best site for your group and will even set you up with caterers, tent rental and entertainment companies. Corporate Meetings and Events

The pancake house at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is an ideal location for your next off-site meeting or retreat. The room can accommodate up to 60 people comfortably and is a great way to get staff out of the office and encourage them to release their creativity.
