Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP)
The Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP) provides data and analytical tools to support implementation of sustainable technologies and practices.
STEP's objectives are to:
Monitor and evaluate sustainable technologies in the areas of water and air
Assess potential barriers to implementing sustainable technologies
Provide recommendations for guideline and policy development
Disseminate study results and recommendations and promote the use of effective technologies at a broader scale through education and advocacy
STEP is a multi-agency effort lead by Toronto and Region Conservation.
The Living City will only be realized if sustainable technologies are developed and nurtured. STEP is making that happen.
