A new solar powered pontoon boat is now in use at Lake St. George Field Centre as the vehicle for introducing visiting students to the ecology and importance of Ketlle Lakes on the Oak Ridges Moraine.
Education Minister Kathleen Wynne visited Lake St. George Field Centre recently, when a new solar powered pontoon boat used in education programs was named in her honor.
North America's largest commercial solar powered pontoon boat is being used to deliver aquatic education programs at Lake St. George Field Centre.
