Mill Pond Splash
Mill Pond Splash is hosted by the Don Watershed Regeneration Council, Toronto and Region Conservation, the Town of Richmond Hill, and the Richmond Hill Naturalists.
On Sunday June 2, 2013, approximately 1500 visitors came out to Mill Pond Park for a wide range of environmental engagement and education opportunities. Participants planted trees, built bird boxes, decorated toad abodes, observed electrofishing, came face-to-face with wildlife, went on a nature walk, listened to live music, and learned about the diverse efforts of local environmental organizations!
The Mill Pond Splash Organizing Committee would like to thank all of the volunteers who made the 15th Annual Mill Pond Splash a success. We would also like to thank TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for their generous support.
