The FFW program consists of daily operations by on-call Flood Duty Officers and also the maintenance of flood control infrastructure (including flood control dams and an extensive gauge network). Real Time Flood Monitoring:The TRCA's flood monitoring gauge network spans the GTA, continually monitoring in-stream water levels at TRCA dams and river stations. Real time stream flow, water level, and precipitation information is available. online at: http://www.trcagauging.ca. While designed as a portal for Flood Duty Officers, limited access to the website and data is available to the general public.
